At an unexpected location, you’ll be surprised by the interactive dance installation by Vloeistof. The images will grab you instantly. And they should, because the scenes are short: the stories are told within seconds. The projected film shows complex images the eye cannot behold straight away. Time and space play an important role - the forward and backwards movements don’t seem to match the film. The audience is directing the movie, through its own movement by fast forwarding or back playing it, speeding it up or slowing it down, meanwhile discovering new things all the time. It is a new way of experiencing dance. So go crazy, playing with time and space.

Collaborative project > The emphasis is on interactively connecting people, dance and film. This project came from a collaboration between multimedia-artist Bob Driessen, dance company Vloeistof and video artist Vincent Vriens.

Interventions in urban behaviour >This project is based on the ambition to approach the urban space as a creative and playful meeting place. This installation encourages the passerby to interact: slow down or stand still to look at his surroundings with different eyes. He or she is lured into dancing, causing a reaction from other passers-by. In a playful and engaging way, and without realising it, they become part of something bigger.

Shown at: Cinedans march 2016, Fabcity (cultural programm amsterdam chair of EU)  june 2016, festival Boulevard august 2016, Dansmaand tilburg 2016, cultuurnachttilburg 2016, chirurgencongress harderwijk oct 2016. For EuropebyPeople Vloeistof developed two extra scenes at the Kop van Java(isle in amsterdam), inspired by the FabCity vibes.
