In Diepenheim, the arts, culture and nature are closely entwined. Professional artists and amateurs meet and are given space. In this 'Stedeke' various forms of art and culture are on display for visitors. The Werkplaats Diepenheim location is adjacent to Cultural Centre Herberg de Pol, which has an indoor stage that seats 130 and an outdoor stage for 80 persons. Thanks to its range of facilities, Werkplaats Diepenheim is very suitable for artists, theatre companies and businesses, both domestic and from abroad. Many organisations in the field of the arts (Kunstvereniging Diepenheim, Kunsten op Straat, Stichting Cultureel Erfgoed Hof van Twente, municipality of Hof van Twente and a variety of local partners) have been cooperating for quite some years towards expanding Diepenheims position. Diepenheim has a unique combination of historical heritage and modern architecture in the middle of the countryside. Since 2017 a new festival named Heimland takes place at The Werkplaats Diepenheim.
